Amelia Peace
During class, Amelia's habit as a child was to fill her journal with poems and short stories. Amelia was an eager student, joining the Super Reader Squad, science club, journalism, and creative writing program. Presently, Amelia writes children’s fiction.
Amelia holds many titles, such as mom-businesswoman-artist-autism advocate. She advocates for individuals on the spectrum, as well as other conditions related to autism.
In August 2019, Amelia put her entrepreneurial skills to work and created #childrensauthorloop on Instagram. Children’s Author Loop links authors with book-related social media contacts. Amelia also runs her own publishing company, Berry Berry Autism Publishing (est. 2021).
Several publications and television programs, such as Milwaukee’s NPR Lake Effect, Alverno College Newsletter, Milwaukee Public Schools Alumni Newsletter, Milwaukee’s 102.5FM, Black Family Homeschool Educators & Scholars Parent Group, Milwaukee’s PBS Black Nouveau, Our Issues on CW18 Milwaukee, Fox6 News Milwaukee, and Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service featured Amelia.
Amelia also dabbles in writing juvenile and adult mysteries. When she is not working, Amelia enjoys spending time with her larger-than-life daughter.
